Ormeau Ambulance Station

This new Ambulance Station is located at the intersection of Peachy Road and Pascoe Road in Ormeau. This facility is designed to meet current and future service demands for the local community and the broader Gold Coast region. The station features a 10-bay vehicle depot and a 280-square meter administration building (AU3) with all necessary support spaces. During construction, key site strategies prioritized community well-being by minimizing impacts on neighbouring residences, maintaining views and sight lines to the surrounding area. Existing vegetation was preserved by retaining as much of the flora as possible. The acoustic impact of station operations was mitigated to reduce noise levels. Finally, the station’s scale and proximity to adjacent properties were thoughtfully addressed to ensure minimal visual impact.
