QSAC Venue Office

The QSAC executive and facilities management office in the western stand was refurbished to optimise space usage and provide new meeting spaces. The Sculptform timber batten system was used to provide privacy screening from the reception area to the open plan office spaces behind without making them feel closed in and allow for climbing indoor plants to grow over them. The battens are also used as a motif for the joinery to bring the fitout scheme together. The CCTV monitors are mounted on an above-head bulkhead to make the screens casually observable from various points in the office for an added layer of site security in addition to the usual security services. Graphic treatments to the acoustic screens give the office a vibrant sporting feel. The battens also make an appearance as a screen for the entry to the renovated amenities.
