QSAC Western Stand Refurbishment – Stage 1

An existing under-utilised basketball court area in the under croft of the QSAC Western stand was refurbished to provide a high-performance gym with built-in performance monitoring equipment, physiotherapy suite and amenities upgrades. The gym was designed to be accessible for athletes and para-athletes and included cushioned sports flooring, extensive acoustic treatments, natural light and air-movement fans. The project enabled Queensland’s elite athletes to train in a state-of-the-art gym in preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
